A Message from Tara-lee”

“The temple lomilomi teachings that I practice and teach are connected deeply to my heart, my soul’s journey or Kuleana (responsibility) as the Hawaiians say, and for me is a way of life.”

Lomilomi has been a life changing experience, one that I believe people feel the call to. A call to a deeper part of themselves that they have always known is there but just didn’t quite have the words for. In this class we will allow the experience to speak for itself. We will experience the “knowing” from within and use that, our curiosity and excitement as our guides.

I am passionate about facilitating opportunities for deep noticeable and lasting healing and transformation in the lives of others. In this way of experiencing lomilomi, it is not merely a tool to restore temporary balance, but the knowledge within the teachings can also be a gateway into awakening to a new way of life.

How LOMILOMI Found Me......

In another lifetime, Tara-Lee was a Customer Relations Manager in a growing telecommunications company. From the outside, her life seemed perfect—successful career, long term relationship—but inside, she felt unfulfilled, disconnected, and unhealthy. In search of “something more,” nothing quite fit, until “the call” came. Her mom, a longtime spiritual guide, introduced her to Lomilomi, and Tara-Lee felt an immediate pull.

After hearing about Lomilomi and meeting Kumu Lomilomi Randy in 2011, Tara-Lee knew she needed more. She trained at Halau Uhane Lomilomi Lapa’Au, a school rooted in Native Hawaiian traditions, and soon felt called to Hawaii. Over the years, she completed multiple certifications and now assists in advanced classes with Kahuna Harry Uhane Jim and Kumu Sila Bray Jim on the Big Island. And bringing these profound healing experiences and teachings back to the Main Land to share with all who feel “the Call.”
